Privacy, in plain words
We're a site that tells you to read the fine print, so we'd better keep ours honest. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

- We only keep your email if you hand it to us — and only to send you the deep-dives.
- No ad networks, no third-party trackers, no tracking cookies.
- We never sell or share your details. Leave any time, one click.
What we collect, and why
- Your email address — only if you sign up. We use it for one thing: sending a short email when a new deep-dive is published. Nothing else. We also note which page you signed up from (say, the tools page) so we know what people find useful — never anything more about you.
- A one-way "fingerprint" when you vote in a poll. To stop the same person voting twice, we store a scrambled code made from your rough network details and browser — a one-way hash. We do not store your actual IP address. It's a fingerprint, not your name; someone who already knew your exact network and browser could confirm a match, but it can't be reversed into you. Your browser also keeps a small "already voted" note, on your device only.
- Basic server logs. Like any website, our host briefly sees standard request data (such as an IP address) to serve the page and block abuse. We don't build profiles from it.
That's the whole list. We don't ask for your name, we don't run analytics that follow you around, and there's no "sign in with…" anything.
Where it's kept
Sign-ups and poll counts live in a database on Cloudflare, which hosts this site. When we start sending the newsletter we'll do it through EmailOctopus — a service that acts only on our instructions and doesn't get to use your address for anything else. Until then your address simply sits in that Cloudflare database, and nothing is sent automatically.
The email list
- Double opt-in, once sending is live. When we switch the newsletter on, signing up will send you one email asking you to confirm — so nobody ends up on the list by accident or by someone else mistyping their address.
- Unsubscribe whenever. Every newsletter email will carry a one-click unsubscribe link. Use it and you're gone — no follow-up, no "are you sure." In the meantime, one line to info@enduranceproof.com takes you off it.
- We keep your address until you leave. Unsubscribe and it's removed from active sending; ask us and we'll delete it entirely.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — and you can object to us using it. The simplest route: reply to any email you get from us, or reach out via the contact below. We'll sort it out. If you're in the EU/UK and think we've got it wrong, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
